One Year Limited Warranty and Repairs

1. Nightside reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to repair or replace various parts of the NS01 rather than to replace the entire lamp that is under this warranty.

2. For a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase the following items will be repaired at our option or replaced if they show no signs of misuse or improper handling and are deemed to be manufacturing defects. A short video demonstrating the defective part must be provided to support@nightside.com before the warranty process can begin. We will use the video to determine at our discretion if the defective part qualifies as a manufacturing defect.

1. Periscopic Hinge
2. Circuit Board Assembly 
3. LED Light
4. Gas Spring

3. Any unauthorized repairs, structural, or permanent cosmetic customizations will render the NS01 One Year Limited Warranty null and void.

4. Warranty service must be performed exclusively at Nightside’s service center located at 500 Tamal Plaza Unit #510 Corte Madera, CA 94925. Customers requiring repair that is under warranty will receive a pre-paid shipping label and pre-paid return shipping label. If you do not have the original NS01 packaging and shipping box they will be provided to you.  It is the customer’s responsibility to properly pack and deliver the warrantied item to a UPS drop off location as UPS is our preferred shipping affiliate.  We are not responsible for any damages once UPS has the product in hand.

5.  Any OUT OF WARRANTY repairs requested will incur a flat service and labor fee of $75 plus the cost of replacement parts and return shipping.  You will be provided with a repair quote before such repairs are rendered.  All shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.  It is the customer’s responsibility to properly pack and ship the lamp to Nightside at their expense. It is recommended the customer use a shipping box that has a 200lb burst test rating. A tracking number using a minimum requirement of UPS Ground Service (NOT Ground Saver) must be provided to Nightside upon shipment.

6. The One Year Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear to the NS01, including accessory components. The following components are subject to
wear and tear as a result of normal use, and therefore, are excluded from the one year limited warranty unless Nightside determines that
damage to such aforementioned components resulted from defective materials or workmanship. The following accessory components include:

1. USB C Cable
2. USB C Adapter
3. Mini Screwdriver
4. Cleaning Cloth

 

7.  The One Year Limited Warranty does not cover the following

• Shipping Damage
• Natural Disasters
• Accidents, including damage by impact
• Misuse or abuse

Failure to properly use, maintain and or care for the lamp per Nightside’s prescribed care instructions.

The foregoing enumerated and referenced exclusions do not create or represent an exhaustive or complete list of exclusions from this warranty. Nightside reserves the exclusive right to investigate and determine whether or not any request for a warrantable repair of the NS01 is excluded under this One Year Limited Warranty.
